Owain in the Lake District

We went to the Lake District! It was the first time I'd seen any real hills. I also got rained on a lot.

This is me in a brand new outfit!

Tanktops are in this season.

This what the Lake District looks like! We're in Windemere, by the lake. We were waiting to get on one of the steamers, and took a boat trip over the lake.

At the other end there was a steam train! I'd dozed off by that point.

The engine started with a gush of steam, that woke me up pretty quick.

That's the boat we got back up the lake. It looks like it's going to hit us but it didn't.

This is my Gran's caravan, where we stayed. I threw up on the floor a few times.

We went for a walk up Knipe Scar, near shap. Daddy changed my nappy right on top of the hill!

Then we all had lunch, me included.

If it wasn't for that tree on the right you'd be able to see Haweswater.

Looking over the mountains was the best view I've ever had while having my lunch.

This is all three of us on top of the hill. It was pretty sunny for October.

We found a suspension bridge. It swayed quite a lot but that just put me to sleep.

Crossing the bridge the easy way.

The next day we met my Gran and went for a walk round Brothers Water. Daddy's got me in his hippy sling.

We went for a walk in Grisedale but it rained a lot!

I think the camera got a bit wet.

We found a statue of a fox. I think daddy was expecting more fox and less umbrella in the photo but it was too rainy for taking pictures.

When it was better weather we went for a walk up the Langstrath in Borrowdale.

Daddy posing again. Mummy was there. Honest.

At the top of the valley this little bridge crosses a waterfall.

I liked the sound of the water!

Daddy found a little man in my nappy!

Mummy thought I looked cherubic in the bath but in the photo I just look a little gormless.
